Obituary for Lorenzo Corona

Lorenzo Corona passed away in Tucson, Arizona on September 12, 2019. Lorenzo was born to Sebastian and Ernestina Corona in 1950. He grew up in Mammoth Arizona and upon graduating from San Manuel High School in 1969 he joined the United States Army until his Honorable Discharge in 1972. Lorenzo married Evelia in1972, and together raised two daughters, Melissa and Valerie.

Lorenzo worked as a produce manager for 40+ years. Lorenzo enjoyed working on cars including classic cars. When he wasn’t working, you could find him relaxing at home and watching T.V. Comedies were his favorite types of shows. He was known for his sense of humor and the occasional jokes.

Lorenzo is survived by his wife Evelia; his daughters Melissa and her husband Tim, and Valerie and her husband Mark; 5 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; 14 siblings; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday October 4, 2019 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at Abbey Funeral Chapel 3435 N. 1st Ave. Tucson, AZ. The burial will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery on Oracle and Prince, Tucson, AZ.
