Obituary for Philip Francis Weber

Philip Francis Weber went home to the Lord on July 4, 2019.

Phil was born on November 10, 1955 in Wichita, Kansas, to Francis “Web” Peter Weber and Sherley Mae (Jaax) Weber. Phil grew up on the family wheat farm in Goddard, Kansas. He graduated from Garden Plain High School in 1973. After high school, he worked many different jobs and traveled across the nation for work. Phil met his wife, Tina, in Tucson, Arizona. They were married in 1988 and settled in Hereford, Arizona. Phil and Tina built their home there with blood, sweat, and tears, and help from their friends along the way. Phil ran a heating and cooling business from 2004-2012, and he worked as a government contractor on Fort Huachuca until retiring earlier this year.

Phil had many interests and a love of learning, with the goal of always completing a task in a better, more efficient way. Phil had a passion for fishing which he shared with his family and friends on many memorable trips to Mexico. Phil enjoyed cooking and shared his love of food by preparing delicious meals for family and friends. Phil had a sharp sense of humor and quick wit, and he made everyone around him laugh constantly. He loved to tell jokes and stories about his wild adventures, which left everyone laughing and wondering how he lived to tell the tale.

Phil is survived by his wife, Tina; his daughters, Amy, Amanda, and Ashley; and his siblings, Greg, Nancy, Jodi, and Ann. He is survived by a very large extended family of boisterous, close-knit, loving people.

Phil was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Weber and Sherley Weber; and his brother Thomas Weber.

Services will be held Monday, July, 22, 2019 at 6:00 pm at Mustang Mountain Cowboy Church, 100 Oak Street, Huachuca City, AZ.
